Inland Empire Economic Partnership Announces 2016 Awards Winners

The Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP) is pleased to announce its annual honorees for 2016. "These are individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exemplary leadership in bettering the business climate and quality of life of the Inland Empire. By using their talents, expertise and influence, these honorees stand out among those who make the area a better place to live for the 4.4 million people of the region," said Paul Granillo, the IEEP’s ceo and president The 2015 winners are:Non-Profit of the Year: KVCR. Business of the Year: Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Public Partner of the Year award: Rick Bishop, Western Riverside Council of Governments. Education Partner of the Year: Julia Lopez, College Futures Foundation. President’s Award: Hasan Ikhrata, Southern California Association of Governments. Chairman’s Award: Dan Byrnes, UPS The winners will be recognized at the Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner for the IEEP, on January 28, 2016 at the Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga. The IEEP Executive Board for 2016 are: Chairman of the Board, Brett Guge of California Steel Industries; First Vice Chairman Marco Robles of Cardenas Markets; Second Vice Chairman Peter Villegas of the Coca Cola Company, Past Chair George Reyes of Best, Best and Krieger and Secretary Paul Granillo of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership. “The people we are honoring contribute every day to the effort to make the Inland Empire a better place to live and a better place for businesses to thrive”, said Granillo.
