The LifeHouse Theater, which is currently celebrating 20 successful years, has grown to be a popular attraction in the Inland Empire and is currently presenting the classic “Beauty and the Beast.” This play is inspired by the 18th century classic fairy tale by Marie Leprince de Beaumont and Charles Perrault. This French fairy tale portrays the adventures of Rose played by Emilie Helvey as she finds true love and the darkness that is created in the Beast played by Rick Arias. This play is an original adaptation that is often compared to the animated Disney classic. Performances for “Beauty and the Beast” began on Valentine’s Day and will continue on the weekends through March 16, 2014. There will be a deaf interpretation conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Each year, the LifeHouse Theater brings in over 30,000 people together to watch their plays. Have you ever thought about auditioning for one of these LifeHouse Theater plays? Auditions are held every 4-6 weeks and 300-500 volunteer actors and actresses are chosen from the thousands that audition on a first come, first serve basis. From the hundreds that are chosen, there will be a six week rehearsal. There is a total of ten shows throughout the season and each audition has a live pianist. If you want to see “Beauty and the Beast”, please call 909-335-3037. Wayne Scott would look forward to your presence at one of the LifeHouse Theater productions.
