Yes, They Were Fed

The three churches who joined together to help feed the community last month is repeating the Free Food Give-Away next Thursday, June 28th, from 10:00 a.m. to noon or until all the food is distributed.

It all began with an idea, inspired by Spirit. Pastor A.L Wilbon has a friend who is able to get food to supply those in need. He mentioned this opportunity to the new Ministers, Rev. LaVonne Rae Andrews and her husband, Dr. Don Welsh, at the “Center for Spiritual Living” on Golden Avenue in San Bernardino. Their Sunday service begins at 10:00 a.m.

Pastor Wilbon, his wife Mamie, their fellow Pastor Harvey, are leaders of the “Showers of Blessings” church. Sunday service is held at the Center on Golden Avenue beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The third group, “Ministerios Llamada Final Shikenah” is led by Pastor Miguel and Miriam Godinez and also meet at the Center. When Pastor Miguel heard about the plan to give out food, his group joined enthusiastically to be of assistance.

Their Sunday service begins at 5:00 p.m.

The Center is located at 2404 N. Golden Avenue just north of Highland. All are welcome to be fed, both physically and spiritually. Spirit provides as we give thanks. And so it is.
