This historic Burrage Mansion in Redlands, California will be the site for this year’s Redlands Symphony Purse Party on Thursday, March 3, 2022.  The party begins at 5 PM and lasts until 8 PM.

The Purse Party offers food, fun, wine, and champagne, plus a curated collection of new and gently loved designer handbags for sale at both silent and live auctions.  This year, the Party returns to with a live and in “purse-on” event at Burrage Mansion, one of Southern California’s most beautiful historic homes.

“We will have the wonderful Burrage Mansion decorated with dozens of purses from designers like Kate Spade, Karl Lagerfeld, Coach, Prada, and Dooney and Burke as well as vintage bags from Gucci, Chanel among others. All of the purses be available for sale at the silent auction,” said Ann Bryan, the event Co-Chair. “The Party ends with a live auction featuring a select group of top-name designer handbags.”

Proceeds from the event go to support the Redlands Symphony’s music education programs for kids. More than 100,000 young people have attended a live concert presented as part of the Symphony’s OrKIDstra program. Concerts are offered at no charge to regional schools.

Tickets for the event are priced at $50 per person. A premium pass for convenient parking on the mansion site is available for another $25. On-site parking at the Mansion is limited and guests who park on the street or in designated parking areas will be shuttled to the Mansion for the Party. Tickets will go on sale January 10th and can be purchased by calling the Redlands Symphony office at (909) 587-5565.

Anyone with a gently loved designer bag they would like to donate to the Party should bring it to the Symphony office from 9-5, Monday through Friday.  The office is located at 112 E. Olive Ave., Suite C in Redlands.
