From July 2019 to November 2019, Detectives from the Central station investigated a series of residential burglaries that occurred in the cities of Loma Linda, Grand Terrace, and Redlands. With the assistance of the Redlands Police Department, Detectives identified Devante McConnell, Nathaniel Johnson, and Michael Pruitt as the primary suspects in the residential burglaries. McConnell was found to be on parole for PC 459- Burglary. Detectives discovered the three suspects were also involved in residential burglaries in the cities of Chino Hills and Rancho Cucamonga. Detectives determined the suspects were members of a local criminal street gang who targeted residences while no one was home.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Valley Gang Team assisted with the investigation and arrested all three suspects. After the service of multiple search warrants, the San Bernardino County District Attorney filed multiple counts of burglary. The suspects remain in custody.

If you have any information regarding this case or have been a victim, please contact Detective J. Cavender or Detective K. Allen at the Central station at (909) 387-3545 or WeTip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
