Over the weekend of November 24 - November 25, 2023, deputies assigned to the Central Station responded to multiple reports of vehicle burglaries in the city of Grand Terrace. Deputies obtained a suspect description from surveillance video and located Benita Williams nearby, who matched that description.

Further investigation revealed Williams had multiple items in her possession that were stolen from the victims' vehicles. The identified property was returned to the victims. Williams was arrested and booked into custody at the Central Detention Center for burglary and possession of brass knuckles. She is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.

Additional suspected stolen property was recovered from Williams. If you or someone you know was a victim of vehicle burglary in the Grand Terrace area over the weekend of Nov 24 - 25, please contact the Central Station to report the incident.
