Parks and athletic fields across Redlands are preparing for an active summer as youth sports programs welcome hundreds of participants for seasonal leagues, camps, and clinics.
Local organizations are offering soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and recreational programs designed to help children stay active while building teamwork and leadership skills.
Parents say the programs provide a positive outlet for youth during school break.
"Sports help kids stay engaged, make friends, and learn valuable life skills," said local parent Jennifer Morales.
Registration numbers are reportedly strong as families seek opportunities that combine recreation with personal development.
