On Saturday, September 18th, Mansion Memories hosted their second Magical Drive Thru Adventure at the Burrage Mansion. It was an all-day event featuring seven different storybook theme stations for the nominated guest to drive by.  People driving through were able to interact with the characters ranging from classic princesses to Star Wars heroes. The cast portraying the characters, in addition to the dozens of volunteers who set up the event, directed traffic, and passed out trinkets for the children, is ultimately what made the magic come to life.

Dianna Lawson, Mansion Memories Executive Director, expressed her gratitude toward everyone involved by saying, “We are so thankful for our faithful supporters, volunteers and amazing cast.

The joy we experienced as the cars filled with kids having such a magical time is what continues to motivate all of us to keep producing these memorable experiences for kids in crisis.”

Each family attending Magical Day events comes with individual stories and experiences that make them special. Mansion Memories makes it a priority to offer love and support to everyone there.

Mariana Slemmer, one of the guests whose daughter was nominated by the Childhood Cancer Foundation, shared, “This was the absolute highlight of our little girl Ava’s day. She met all her favorite princesses. Thank you for making the day so special.”
