Alice Sophia Hodde Robbins was born on January 25, 1914 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away on October 17, 2019 in Loma Linda, California. She was 105 years of age. She is survived by daughter, Joann. She was married to the late Pastor F. Leon Robbins for over 70 years. Since 1934, she and her husband began their ministry together for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dayton, Ohio. They then served worldwide to churches in North America, South America, and Asia before retiring from the Yucaipa Seventh-day Adventist Church. As a centenarian, she recited from memory Psalm 23 and John 3:16 and sang “Amazing Grace.” Her secrets to longevity was “Vegetarian lifestyle” and temperance in all aspects of her life. She will be remembered as a loving and gracious individual who will be greatly missed.
