Local pet parents have a big reason to celebrate. Happy Dog Resort, a family-owned and operated pet resort, is opening in Redlands! With nearly 20,000 square feet of supervised indoor and outdoor play yards, it offers a fun doggie day camp experience, a range of private overnight lodging suites, a paw-fessional grooming salon, group, and private dog training, a boutique and retail store, and The Pup Shack Dog Bakery & Cafe on-site. That’s a lot to raise the woof about!

Its fully renovated facility is conveniently located off the I-10 freeway and Alabama at 1625 Industrial Park Ave, in the nostalgic former Marie Callendar’s building, with ample parking!

A loving team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest level of care for all its four-legged guests is on-site 24/7 365 days a year. The resort’s carefully curated activities and play areas ensure that pets will have ample opportunities for exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation.

Happy Dog Resort will quickly become your dog’s favorite “stay and play” spot for Lodging and Doggie Day Camp and is a much-needed addition to our pet-loving community. “Campers” will play inside and outside on shaded, artificial turf complete with themed Camp Days including splash pads, ball pits, bubble day, ice cream, and more. Camp comes included with all lodging stays, or private play sessions can be arranged. The climate-controlled indoor luxury pet suites are chain-link-free, spacious, and comfortable with plexiglass doors, and plush orthopedic mattresses are provided. Happy Dog Resort offers full-service grooming and spa services including baths and haircuts, doggie facials, and paw-dicures. Happy Dog also offers a wide range of training, ranging from basic to advance obedience for puppies and adults, advanced therapy dog training, AKC Canine Good Citizen, and behavioral modification. They also offer fun events for dogs and their parents including Yappy Hours, birthday pawties, and homemade gourmet pet treats from The Pup Shack Dog Bakery & Cafe, and will hold special events on the 2.5-acre property.

“As dog lovers ourselves, we are thrilled to be opening our doors to our pet-loving community of Redlands,” said Happy Dog Resort owners, Brent and Brittany Poole. “Our pet resort has been meticulously designed to provide pets with a safe and fun environment while giving pet parents peace of mind that their beloved companions are taken care of with the utmost love and attention.”

In conjunction with the grand opening, Happy Dog Resort will be hosting a Grand Opening event on Saturday, August 26 in the ample parking lot. This event will include tours to showcase the resort’s facilities and services, including fun activities for both pets and their owners, catered food from The Fat Greek, and giveaways including Day Camp Cards, Lodging Packages, a Doggy Ice-cream Social with gourmutt ice-cream scoops made by The Pup Shack, and more!

Official Opening Day is August 28, and Happy Dog Resort is currently accepting reservations for future lodging, grooming, and Day Camp assessments now! Please visit www.happydogredlands.com to book.
