Freedom is Even Better with Free Microchips

Fireworks may light up the sky, but for many pets, the loud noises of Fourth of July celebrations can be deeply frightening. Every year, scared pets run away from home trying to escape the sounds — leading to heartbreak, stress, and costly efforts to bring them back safely.

The good news? Moreno Valley residents can get their pets microchipped for FREE at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter — helping lost pets reunite with their families faster and at little to no cost.

A microchip is a simple step that can make a life-changing difference. Protect your furry family members before the fireworks begin. Bring your pet in as soon as possible, prior to the start of Fourth of July celebrations.

Location:

Moreno Valley Animal Shelter

14041 Elsworth Street, Moreno Valley, CA.

Hours:

  • Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

No appointments needed. Up to 4 pets per household. Pets are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please bring a driver's license or utility bill with your name and address for proof of Moreno Valley residency.
