Students in the Regional Occupational Program film class at Citrus Valley High School will be filming activities at school and elsewhere with a different and amazing perspective, thanks to a donation made possible by the Redlands Police Community Foundation and Corona drone manufacturer Yuneec.

On Wednesday, Jan. 23, Redlands Police Chief Chris Catren and Yuneec’s Moises DeLaTorre presented a new Yuneec Typhoon H drone to the students and instructor Kevin Fisher.

In addition to other class work, one of the first projects the students will put the drone to immediate use filming a recruitment video for the Redlands Police Department, showing the commitment the department has made not only to the community as a whole, but to its youth.
