The Redlands Fire Department responded to a working fire in a Class C motorhome in front of a residence in the 13100 block of South Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 9. No injuries were reported.

The first arriving unit found the motorhome well involved with fire. Across the street from the fire was open land with the potential for extension into the brush.

Redlands Fire Department units were assigned fire attack and were successful in limiting the fire to the motorhome and preventing it from escaping into the brush. RFD units overhauled the fire to ensure all hot spots were removed from the motorhome.

There was no damage to the residence or any other property. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
