Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino (FARSB) hosted its 5th Annual Can Tree Wonderland presented by Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions Foundation, raising over $60,000 to support hunger-relief programs. This holiday event featured an NY Rockin’ Christmas-themed food drive, bringing community groups together to feed the IE alongside the food bank.

“We’re grateful to our community members, organizations, and businesses who supported this event, which provides much-needed food assistance for neighbors in need over the holiday season, said Angela Jugon, Development & Marketing Director at FARSB. “Every family deserves the food they need to thrive, but we also want to offer hope and holiday spirit.” Jugon continued.

The event brought together nearly 30 groups who either purchased or collected canned goods to build holiday tree displays for community members to vote on. Attendees at the event voted for their top choice, with three winners recognized for their outstanding display.

·         1st Place: DCH Subaru of Riverside – “LA Dodgers Stadium” Tree

·         2nd Place: Express Workforce Foundation – “The Wizard of Oz” Tree

·         3rd Place: U.R. Wonderful – “Golder Nutcracker” Tree

Community members were invited to the food bank warehouse to view and vote for their favorite canned tree display while enjoying refreshments from Dutch Bros, pizza slices from Mamma Mia, and fresh popcorn. Festive activities were available for attendees and included Coney Island fair games, facepainting, a gingerbread house-making contest, photos with Santa, PBG Entertainment photobooth, and the Orangewood Farms petting zoo.

Can Tree Wonderland: NY Rockin’ Christmas 2025 was made possible by our additional generous sponsors: DCH Subaru of Riverside, Vulcan Materials Company, San Bernardino Elks Lodge #836, Hodgdon Management Construction, Altura Credit Union, Athen Services, QVC Group, and Wabash.
