The City of Redlands Recreation Division offers First Tee Youth Golf for children ages 6-12, from 5-6 p.m. Mondays at Sylvan Park, 601 N. University St. Classes are taught by First Tee Inland Empire.
First Tee Inland Empire Community Golf Program is the perfect way to learn the game of golf. Highly trained coaches cover all aspects of the sport through a series of games, drills and activities. The First Tee Nine Core Values are a focus during the hour-long weekly classes. Honesty, integrity, sportsmanship are just a few of the Nine Core Values that are important in golf and in life. Each week will involve games, instruction and physical fitness. This is a perfect program for kids who want to learn a new sport and for kids who want to improve their golf skills
No golf experience is required to join the First Tee Youth Golf program and all equipment will be provided. Fall session begins Sept. 13 and continues through Oct 4.
