Audience Members Sought For Taping of New TV Show

REDLANDS>> The public is invited to join the audience of a new television program featuring contemporary topics to be recorded live in Redlands. The half-hour show, titled "A New Day," is hosted by Dr. Tammy Bradshaw-Scott, creator of the program. Plans call for new episodes of the program to be taped on Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12. Four episodes are scheduled to be recorded on Saturday at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday's three episodes will be recorded at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Guests are welcome at any or all of the recordings. "A New Day" will be broadcast nationally and internationally on the SmartLifestyle Channel, a division of the BrightStar Communications network. Each themed episode will explore a subject and feature qualified guests with expertise and experience to contribute to the discussion. Series topics will include parenting, coping with disabilities, strategies for success, autism, money management, issues faced by the elderly, bullying and a wide variety of timely issues. Audience questions and interaction will be a welcome feature of the series. Bradshaw-Scott holds two Master's Degrees and a Ph.D. Degree in Clinical Psychology. She is a Registered Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Bradshaw-Scott has provided therapy, psychological assessments and treatments for children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics from all walks of life. In addition, she maintains her own private practice, Grace Counseling and Psychological Services, located in Redlands. Drawing upon more than 10 years of experience, Bradshaw-Scott's goal for "A New Day" is to provide broad access to information that may improve individual's mental health, assist with relationship issues, address family and work problems, and offer solutions for coping in stressful situations. She especially aims to reach viewers who would otherwise not be able to receive information on these topics. Episodes of "A New Day" will be recorded at LifeHouse Theater, 1135 N. Church Street, Redlands. Admission is free, however, reservations are required as seating is limited. Those interested in joining the audience should contact LifeHouse Theater directly between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, at (909) 335-3037.
