REDLANDS—(April 20, 2016) To continue the conversation about race and diversity at campuses across the country, student activists in the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies at the University of Redlands (UCR) will host “Race on Campus: A Student Conference” May 6-7.  Open to undergraduate students in the Southern California area, the conference is the effort of student activists to build a regional community of those who have the desire to move toward greater equality in higher education. More than 30 presenters and five student keynote speakers will address the conference.  Attendance and meals for the two-day conference are free, and housing is available by request. Students who register to attend are also welcome and encouraged to propose a topic for presentation. Register online at raceoncampus.org.
