Those auditioning should bring a theatrical resume and a recent photo to leave with the audition panel. Those without a photo may have a picture taken at the auditions for a $2 fee. Auditioners should also prepare a monologue about one minute in length. “12 Angry Jurors” opens Saturday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue on weekends through Jan. 31. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. (except Opening Night) and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. In addition to the weekend performances, there will be a special Thursday performance at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 28. In this award-winning courtroom drama by Reginald Rose, what begins as an open and shut case of murder erupts into a fiery clash of character. Each of the jurors’ prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other fill debate as a guilty verdict means an automatic death sentence. This impassioned classic production is sure to engage audiences.
