Alta Vista Credit Union announced today that it will be hosting its 4th Annual Car Show on Friday, September 22nd from 6 PM – 9 PM to raise money for the Big Hearts for Little Hearts Guild to support Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.

Alta Vista Credit Union is hosting the event at its Redlands branch with support from event sponsors: Arrowhead Capital, Real Estate Masters Group and Play Toys Classic Cars. Seventy antique cars are expected to be judged and showcased, with trophies given to the winning cars. Everyone from the community is invited to attend this free-entry event. Music will be provided by a local D.J. and food will be sold, as well as raffle tickets for prizes donated by several local businesses; including a full set of tires from Firestone Complete Auto Care. All proceeds from the raffle tickets will be presented to the Big Hearts for Little Hearts Guild later this year.

“Our annual auto shows are all about supporting the community. Local car owners, businesses and residents all come together for an evening of fun and to support a local charity. Our past auto shows have been well attended. Based on the feedback that we’ve received thus far, I’m anticipating that this year’s auto show will be another successful event,” said RaAnn Wood, President and Chief Executive Officer at Alta Vista Credit Union.

Along with serving its members, supporting local businesses and community philanthropy are key priorities of Alta Vista Credit Union. The credit union is a member of the Redlands Chamber of Commerce, Highland Chamber of Commerce and Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the year, Alta Vista volunteers and provides donations to several local charitable organizations.

Individuals that wish to showcase their cars may pre-register at http://www.altavistacu.org/CarShow up until 6 PM on Thursday, September 21st. Registration is not required for individuals who want to attend

without showcasing a car.

Headquartered in Redlands, CA, Alta Vista Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative opened in 1943. The credit union serves 14,200 members and offers a full line of financial products and services. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in San Bernardino County or Riverside County, California.
