Residents Invited to Apply for Commission Openings

The City of Redlands invites residents to apply for openings on the Citrus Preservation Commission and Airport Advisory Board. Deadline for filing applications is March 24. Members are appointed by the City Council. ·The Citrus Preservation Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the acquisition, improvement, preservation and retention of citrus properties within the City. The Citrus Preservation Commission meets every month on the second Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Municipal Utilities Department, 35 Cajon St., Suite 15A. Residents of Redlands and surrounding cities are encouraged to apply. ·The Airport Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the administration, operation, development, improvement and maintenance of the Redlands Municipal Airport. The Airport Advisory Board meets on the first Wednesday of even-numbered months at 5 p.m. Persons interested in applying for these non-salaried positions may request an application form from the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 35 Cajon St., Suite 200, by phone at (909) 798-7510, or on-line at www.cityofredlands.org.
