REDLANDS >> On Wednesday, May 25, at about 11:34 a.m., deputies assigned to the City of Loma Linda and Sheriff's Central Station detectives responded to the Quaid Harley Davidson dealership in Loma Linda regarding an in-progress Theft by Fraud. Upon arrival, Deputies Ash and Spears detained the three suspects as they were attempting to purchase a new motorcycle using stolen personal information. Central detectives arrived on scene and assisted with the investigation. During the investigation it was discovered that the three suspects had arrived at the location earlier that morning and had selected a motorcycle to purchase. During the purchase process, alleged suspect Zacharias Webbrussell used a false ID card with one of the victims' personal information, portraying himself as the victim to a salesman, in an attempt to fraudulently purchase the new Harley Davidson motorcycle, valued at $43,000. The victim had recently placed a fraud alert on his credit and personal information which alerted dealership personnel, who then notified Sheriff’s Dispatch. During contact with the suspects, deputies located a fully loaded .45 caliber handgun concealed in a backpack that alleged suspect Henry Vinson was wearing at the time. Based upon information/evidence located at the scene by investigators, all three suspects were arrested without incident. They were then transported/booked at Central Detention Center for Felony Identity Theft, Conspiracy, Attempted Grand Theft, and Possession of a Loaded Gun. Additionally, Sheriff’s detectives learned that all three suspects had been recently identified in a similar crime at a Harley Davidson dealership in Westminster and were actively being sought by the Westminster Police Department.
