REDLANDS>> Community members can enjoy food, desserts champagne and dancing while supporting local kids and teens on Saturday, Feb. 11. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside’s 23rd annual Chocolate Fantasy fundraiser is the Saturday before Valentine’s Day at the historic Mitten Building in Redlands. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event is 7 to 11 p.m. Attendees can enjoy savory and sweet treats from local restaurants, caterers and bakeries while giving back to Inland Empire youth. The event will include live and silent auctions and a raffle for an Apple Watch Series 2. Raffle tickets are on sale now, and those who enter do not have to be present to win. Tickets are $90 per person. Table sponsorships are available. “We hope to have an extra special Chocolate Fantasy this year to celebrate our 50th anniversary,” said P.T. McEwen, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs. “We couldn’t have put on Chocolate Fantasy for 23 years without our supporters, sponsors and vendors. This year we hope to continue to provide a great event for our local community and raise more funds to support kids. We hope you can celebrate with us.” Attendees can sample food from local restaurants and catering companies, and vote for Chocolatier of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and Decorations of the Year. The B.O.E. Band will once again provide great music and the opportunity to dance the night away.
