The Inland Empire Valley Flute Society will hold its monthly meeting on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 4:00 p.m. in Redlands.

All local flute players, young and older, professional or amateur, are invited to attend the free meeting.  The September meeting is the Society’s annual social meeting and will feature a performance by Brenda Adorador, the IEVF Society’s 2017 scholarship recipient.  Refreshments will be served.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their flutes for a possible sight-reading session of flute choir music.

The Inland Empire Valley Flute Society (IEVFS) is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2003 to inspire local flutists of all ages and abilities, and to support each other in their endeavors to learn, improve, and enjoy the flute.  IEVFS promotes flute performance events, encourages amateur flute players, sponsors a flute lesson scholarship, provides opportunities to gather and exchange ideas, brings local flute players together for social events, and provides flute players of all ages and abilities with opportunities to continue playing the flute and and improve skills.

For directions to the IEVFS meeting, or for more information, please call Jackie Aronowitz, IEVFS Events Coordinator, at 909-335-1833 or email her at: IEVFluteSociety@gmail.com . The IEVFS is on Facebook and also has a website at: www.InlandEmpireValleyFluteSociety.com
