Upcoming: Basketball Programs

The Redlands Community Center is hosting two basketball programs: the Fytt Basketball League and the Basketball Skillz Clinic. The Fytt Winter Basketball league is designed to promote a safe basketball program for local youth. This league is for children ages 4 to 14. Registration is $129. Late fees will be applied to applications received after Dec. 6. Every child who registers will be entitled a uniform, team bag, water bottle, and a medal. Player Draft Day: Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. for ages 4-8, and noon for ages 9-14 Games will be played on Saturdays beginning Jan. 24, and ending March 14, 2015. Practice days and times are determined by volunteer coaches. The Basketball Skillz Clinic is a training program using a cutting edge basketball curriculum designed to empower and strengthen basketball players and help them take their games to the next level. Registration is $59, and every athlete will receive a program shirt. The program runs on Thursdays beginning Oct. 23 through Nov. 20. Times for each age group are: 3-5 years: 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. 5-7 years: 5:15 - 6 p.m. 7-12 years: 6 - 6:45 p.m. Scholarships are available to those who qualify.
