On Monday, Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m., kids from the Boys & Clubs of the Greater Redlands-Riverside received an educational and exciting presentation from the Loma Linda Fire Department (LLUFD). LLUFD presented topics on fire safety, and drove in the fire engine for the kids to observe at the Bryn Mawr Elementary School in Loma Linda. The club took part in Fire Prevention Week earlier this month. The Boys & Girls club, an after-school program with winter and summer camps, seeks to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The Loma Linda Fire Department provided an opportunity for the kids to understand the importance of fire safety, and even allowed them a chance to practice putting out their own "fires."
