REDLANDS >> More than 140 golfers gathered to compete at the 34th annual Redlands Community Hospital Foundation (RCHF) Golf Classic, which raised $250,000. The RCHF Golf Classic proceeds will help expand vital patient programs and services, such as the upcoming Emergency Department expansion. “While our Golf Classic is a signature event that players from throughout the community look forward to participating in,” said Jan Opdyke, RCH Foundation president. “For many years, our golfers have hit it long and straight to help raise funds for our non-profit hospital’s key programs and services. Redlands Community Hospital Foundation helps the Hospital achieve its mission through raising funds to support infrastructure, clinical services and health promotion programs of the Hospital. As the hospital is one of the remaining independent, stand-alone, not-for-profit health care institutions in our region, the Foundation assists in increasing the margin of excellence in health care delivery by finding funding to augment net revenue generated through hospital operations to meet patient and clinician needs.
