CPM Invites Public to "Squeaky Clean" Comedy Show Fundraiser

REDLANDS>> When author Kimberly Evinda Lepins published her first book, she never dreamed she would end up the CEO of CPM, dba Trench Classes United, an organization that helps people learn how to thrive in life and love. Having grown up in the foster-care system as a result of abuse and family dysfunction, her pain has become her passion and Trench Classes United has grown as a result of her overcoming her history.

Through Trench Classes, students are taught healthy coping skills to replace the unhealthy ones often used as a way of merely surviving.  Unhealthy coping skills result in such behaviors as addition, control issues, medication dependency, anxiety, and/or minor depression.

“You can’t disown what you haven’t owned,” said Lepins. “We teach people how to mend fences, get along, how to love the unlovable, including themselves by digging into their past toward a brighter future. “ Participants will learn coping skills and techniques to take control of their own life in order to thrive, not just survive. Their next class will be August 4-6th, and will be a retreat. The theme: Living Fearlessly, Forgiven and Forgiving. Lepins says, “Because a life lived forgiven is worth living!”

To help others learn how to thrive in life and love, CPM is having a scholarship fundraiser and is inviting the public to come join them for a night of squeaky clean comedy on Friday, June 16th. The show will feature comedians Tobe Hixx, Daniel Eachus and Roberto Rodriguez. The event is sponsored by Dave and Busters and Laughing to Success Entertainment.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Funds generated from the fundraiser will enable more people to attend CPM’s next Retreat/Trench Class.

Reserve your ticket at trenchclassesunited@gmail.com. Tickets will not be available at the door.

For more information on Trench Classes United or to volunteer, visit www.trenchclassesunited.com/trenchclasses. Signups for the retreat are open now.
