RHIS Installs New Board Members

REDLANDS >> Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society (RHIS) recently installed new Board members for 2016 to 2017. New Board members are President Chris Sedmack, Board Members Dini Martz, Betty Ashbaker, Jeff Ashbaker, Arlene Benson, John Grimm, Gerri Herth, Rosemary Herendeen, Lani Howard, Frank Herendeen, George Nash, Linda Brooks, Karen LaBlanc, Brian Romberg and Elizabeth Thiessen. RHIS is a group of more than 200 families who love and enjoy plants of all kinds. Members have home gardens both large and small. General meetings are held during the months of September through June, on the third Thursday of the month, at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 1307 E. Citrus Ave. in Redlands. Meetings are interesting and informative, and include knowledgeable speakers, horticultural related programs, a question and answer period, time for socialization, refreshments, and a favorite…horticultural door prizes.
