REDLANDS >> The public is invited to a workshop, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, to review and comment on preliminary design for the City of Redlands’ planned skate park. The City of Redlands will host the public design workshop with the California Skateparks design team at the Redlands City Council Chambers, 35 Cajon St. At that meeting the preliminary design for the skate park will be presented and community input from the workshop will serve to refine the design of the state-of-the-art concrete facility. The planned skate park will be located at Sylvan Park, at the site of the old Sylvan Plunge. California Skateparks is a multi-disciplinary company specializing in the design and build of public and private concrete skate parks, plazas, skate spots and progressive recreational facilities.
