Facilities Will Close in Observance of Columbus Day

City Hall administrative offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 12, in observance of the Federal Columbus Day holiday. The A.K. Smiley Public Library, Redlands Community Center, Redlands Community Senior Center and Joslyn Senior Center will also be closed. Essential City services, including public safety and utilities will be in full operation. Solid waste pickup schedules, including trash, recycling and green waste, will not be affected. All solid waste will be collected on the regularly scheduled days. The City of Redlands Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off facility will be closed Saturday, Oct. 10, to accommodate the annual Open House at Fire Station 261, at the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Redlands Boulevard. The Open House will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Normal hours for the Household Hazardous Waste site, Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will resume Saturday, Oct. 17.
