Boys & Girls Clubs Holding Back-to-School Drive

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside is holding a school drive to support local youth – particularly those from low-income backgrounds -- as they return back to school.  The Club is accepting donations of school supplies at:

a)  Redlands City Hall – city clerk’s office and municipal utilities and engineering department, 35 Cajon St.,

b)  Redlands Community Center and Community Senior Center, 111 W. Lugonia Ave.,

c)  Boys & Girls Club at Hansberger Clubhouse, 1251 Clay St., and the Gap, 27461 San Bernardino Ave. (Mountain Grove).

Gap will be taking donations until July 31, and the other locations will be accepting donations until Aug. 11. Those who donate at Gap will get 10% off their entire purchase.

Items that can be donated:
New backpacks
Pens (blue or black)
Pencils
Notebooks
Paper
3-ring binders
Folders
Pencil sharpeners
Erasers
Pencil/pen case
Highlighters
Rulers
Paper clips

Additionally, shoppers at Old Navy on Mountain Grove can donate funds to the Club and get a $5 coupon July 27-Aug. 7.
