LifeHouse Theater’s popular Sunday Night Specials series continues with “An Evening of Magic, Music and Mayhem" provided by the Amazing Zach and America’s Doo Wop Dolls.

This special one night only event will take place on Sunday, September 10 at 7:00pm. Advance ticket prices are $16 for adults and $9 for children ages 3-11 and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037 or online at www.boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as seats are limited.

Current LifeHouse Theater season passholders can purchase adult tickets for $10.

The evening begins with the toe-tapping 1940’s sound of America’s Doo Wop Dolls. This trio of young ladies is made up of Aubree Reeves, Emily Prince and Kayla Peterson. The group got their start in 2012 bringing the classic Doo Wop sound of the 1940’s made popular by The Andrew Sisters to care centers. The girls were touched to see the effect their singing had on many of the people in the centers. They observed people suffering with Alzheimer’s and dementia respond to the familiar tunes, often singing along with every word. After some newspaper coverage, America’s Doo Wop Dolls became in demand for the next few years before school and marriage forced the girls to take a break from singing. Now they are reuniting for one night only on the LifeHouse stage.

Mixed in with the music is the magic of the Amazing Zach who performs funny feats of legerdemain lunacy and illusionary tricks that will mystify and astound. The Amazing Zach is Zachary Michel, a young up-and-coming magician who has already performed for cruise ship talent shows, Royal Family Kids, the Redlands Theatre Festival and the special event, LifeHouse Theater’s Got Talent. Zach has also been seen in many different LifeHouse productions including “Sleeping Beauty,” “Jackie Robinson” and “Alice in Wonderland.” The Amazing Zach specializes in family friendly fun that is enjoyable for audiences of all ages.

“We couldn’t ask for a more talented combination of performers,” comments LifeHouse president Wayne Scott. “Our guests are in for a treat as they experience the sounds of America’s Doo Wop Dolls and the prestidigitation of the Amazing Zach.”

On select Sunday nights, LifeHouse Theater presents special one-act productions, both plays and musicals, ranging from dramatic to comedic and from inspirational to hilarious. Each Sunday Night Special will be presented for either one or two night only engagements. LifeHouse Theater’s next Sunday Night Special will be the hit holiday presentation of “A Christmas Song in My Heart” on December 3 and 10, 2017, followed by “The Gift of the Magi” on December 17, 2017.

The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School. Free parking is available in back of the theater. More information can be found by visiting the website at www.lifehousetheater.com
