REDLANDS>> On June 3rd, 2017 the Redlands Optimist Club held their 1st Annual Redlands Springfest at Sylvan Park in Redlands from 12 to 5 PM. Hosted by the same Redlands event planners of Oktoberfest, the event was a great excuse to spend some time in the sunshine with friends and family while enjoying some excellent local beer, awesome food vendors, life-sized games of Jenga and more!

It was a kid-friendly event, with a supervised playing area containing various games and playground equipment, including a jump room, slide and stunt jump. The Kid Zone was set in a safely guarded environment. The Kid Zone was set apart from the drinking areas but was near enough where parents could view their children and interact with them and still enjoy the event as well.

Vendors had a variety of crafted beers, from strong dark stout to a gentle pale ale. The event featured beers from Ritual Brewery, Escape Brewery, Inland Empire Brewery, Packinghouse Brewery, Bootleggers Brewery, and Brewcaipa Brewery! J.Riley Distillery in Redlands also offered a selection of fine whiskies.

A live band performed and provided classic rock and hits from the 60’s thru 90’s! Additionally, Brewmatchu/Random Posture played original/alternative rock hits!

Redlands Springfest is a charity fundraiser event put on by the Redlands Optimist service club, a 401(c) nonprofit organization. All proceeds from the event were used to support the youth of the City of Redlands and nearby surrounding communities.
