Jane Austen’s classic story of romance charms its way on stage in this witty musical that explores the pursuit of happiness. Elizabeth Bennet’s prejudice against Mr. Darcy is only matched by the arrogance of his pride as this cautionary tale unfolds with humorous twists and turns. Performances begin Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue on weekends through Nov. 8. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. (Except Opening Night) and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. In addition to the weekend performances, we will be offering a special Thursday evening performance on Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The performance on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 PM will feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf. Tickets may be purchased online through the website: www.boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com (Fees apply). Advance ticket prices are $16 or $20 for adults and $8 or $10 for children ages three-11 (no children under three are admitted) and can be also purchased over the phone with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card by calling (909) 335-3037 (Fees apply). Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to and during show times on the weekends. Tickets are $1 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as many performances sell out. Following “Pride and Prejudice”, LifeHouse Theater will begin its 22nd season with a festive Christmas favorite, “Miracle on 34th Street.” Opening night is Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue through Dec. 30. The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School. Free parking is available in back of the theater.
