Details for the third annual AirFest and Anniversary Celebration have been released by Hangar 24 Charities. The celebration will run from noon until 10 p.m. at the Redlands Municipal Airport on Saturday, May 16, and will include a range of aviators, vintage aircraft and musical acts to the city. A Kid's Zone will include attractions for young children and dozens of food vendors will be on site serving up festival fare. A firework finale will conclude the event. This year at least 15,000 people are expected to attend the single-day event, which also celebrates Redlands's own Hangar 24 Craft Brewery's seventh anniversary. In commemoration of this event, a 7th Anniversary beer will be available at the AirFest on draught and in limited edition bottles alongside at least 35 different Hangar 24 beers from throughout the years. Volunteers are also needed for the upcoming event, and will receive free event entry, a volunteer T-shirt and an invitation to a volunteer party held later in the year. Funds raised at the event will benefit Hangar 24 Charities and other local Redlands and Inland Empire charities partnered with Hangar 24.
