The music of the late John Denver is like an old friend, outlasting trends and standing the test of time. A well-known and well-loved performer, John Denver earned international acclaim as a songwriter, performer, actor, environmentalist and humanitarian. His music has outlasted countless musical trends and garnered numerous awards and honors. Tribute artist Jim Curry, whose voice was heard in the CBS-TV movie Take Me Home: The John Denver Story, has performed Denver’s music in sold out shows throughout the country and has emerged as today’s top performer of Denver’s vast legacy of multi-platinum hits. Join Jim Curry for his tribute concert to the music of John Denver, presented by the Citrograph Foundation, with sponsorship of the University of Redlands, at the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel beginning at 5 p.m. Sept. 12. All proceeds fund scholarships for local university students. Citrograph Foundation is committed to working on fundraising that supports local students majoring in business, graphic design and music. Tickets are available at Citrograph Printing Co. and at University of Redlands Event Services. General admission tickets are $45 and VIP tickets, which include a reception and opportunity to meet Jim Curry, are $75. Special prices for University students and staff who use ID to purchase tickets in person. Tickets are available at citrographfoundation.org.
