Maria Zamora-Hughes, regional executive director of InnovAge California, has been appointed vice chair of the CalPACE Board of Directors. CalPACE, the California PACE Association, is dedicated to the expansion of comprehensive healthcare services through the Program of All-inclusive Care for Elderly (PACE). The CEO or Executive Director of each California PACE organization serves on the CalPACE board of directors. Officers of the board hold their position for one year, and elections occur annually. Over the last four years, Zamora-Hughes has held leadership roles for InnovAge, which provides health and wellness services to older adults in the Inland Empire. She has nearly 20 years of healthcare experience. “At InnovAge, we’re privileged to offer a complete care model to Inland Empire seniors who seek to enhance their quality of life and independence through the PACE program,” said Maria Zamora-Hughes. “I’m honored to be a board member and now an officer of CalPACE, as we work together to improve the lives of seniors and family caregivers throughout California.”
