Residents Invited to Apply for Spot on Cultural Arts Commission

The Redlands City Council invites residents to apply for an opening on the Cultural Arts Commission. The Cultural Arts Commission promotes public interest in arts, recommends new arts programs and sources of funding for those programs, assists the city council by recommending policies to encourage, develop and support the arts in Redlands, and advises the city council in the administration of the city's "Art in Public Places" program. The Cultural Arts Commission meets bi-monthly on the second Monday of odd-numbered months at 4 p.m. Residents interested in applying for the non-salaried position on this commission may request application forms from the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 200, or by phone at 909-798-7510, or from the city’s website www.cityofredlands.org The deadline for filing applications is Jan. 30.
