Bryan Edward Brown was arrested Tuesday following an investigation that began May 25 when Brown’s girlfriend reported that she believed Brown had killed her Chihuahua, Jewels, and disposed of it.

Brown was arrested at his place of business in the 1300 block of Agate Street in Mentone on Tuesday, May 30. He was booked into San Bernardino County jail.

Jewels was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, in the 0 block of Terracina Avenue in Redlands. Anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Jewels is asked to contact Redlands Police.
