Bringing the Native Western Bluebird Back to Southern California is the topic of Jim Semelroth's Power Point presentation about the activities of the Southern California Bluebird Club. Semelroth is committed to the restoration and preservation of the Western Bluebird population in Orange County. His bluebird boxes have increased bluebird counts in record amounts. Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society invites the public to join members to enjoy Semelroth's friendly and informative bluebird presentation on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Church of the Nazarene, located 1.3 miles East of the Redlands Mall at 1307 E. Citrus Avenue. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Door prizes, refreshments and an opportunity to meet the guest speaker are a bonus to the monthly meetings.
