Redlands Police arrested two suspects following an armed robbery at a jewelry store Wednesday. A third suspect is still outstanding. Police responded to a silent alarm at the Tekin Brothers Jewelers located at 9980 Alabama St., Suite B, at about noon on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Two male employees and a female customer were inside when the suspects, described as three black males armed with handguns, entered the store. The robbers held up the store and escaped with merchandise. During the robbery, two employees were injured. One was transported to a local hospital. Detectives are not releasing the nature of the injuries but did confirm that they were not gunshot wounds. The condition of the injured parties is unknown. Police set up a perimeter and quickly located two suspects, ages 16 and 17, from the Compton area. Both were taken into custody. Police also recovered evidence linked to the robbery. The third suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and black pants.
