With beginnings traced back as early as 1908 in the United States, Mother's Day has become a worldwide celebration adopted by several countries and cultures, with one broad goal: celebrating mothers and honoring motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society. This special day, celebrated the second Sunday in May, is marked by spending quality time with the mothers in your life, often characterized by giving bountiful floral bouquets, heartfelt cards and handwritten letters, pampering with relaxing spa treatments, and, perhaps the most favorite method of celebration, gathering around the table for a hearty meal. What do these methods of celebration all share in common? They're all different ways, literally and figuratively, to express gratitude for the mothers in your life and acknowledge their daily work in what many would describe as the hardest, most rewarding job there is: motherhood. As part of this special upcoming celebration, the Hilton Garden Inn in San Bernardino invites families to say "I love you" this Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn's Garden Grille Restaurant and enjoy a special Mother's Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a menu sure to satisfy your every sweet and savory craving. The delectable grande brunch buffet will feature a seafood display, all your favorite breakfast items and entrees including prime rib beef, almond-crusted salmon, chicken roulades and more. Those with a sweet craving can enjoy a Belgian waffle station and an extensive dessert selection. With something for everyone, the buffet is even complete with bottomless champagne and juice. Brunch is $32.95 for adults, $12.95 for children ages 5 to 12 and kids under 5 eat free! The Hilton Garden Inn in San Bernardino is located at 1755 S. Waterman Avenue. Call 909-806-4040 to make your reservation today!
