The Redlands Community Center and the City’s Senior Centers are the coolest places in town! As temperatures heat up this week, the Joslyn Senior Center, Community Senior Center and the Community Center are cooling down. The National Weather Service predicts excessive heat and a prolonged period of very hot weather for inland valleys, deserts and mountains as early as Thursday and continuing through the weekend. In addition to providing a place to escape the extreme heat, Redlands Cool Centers offer pleasurable, informative, and enlightening programs in a relaxed and secure environment. People in the community are encouraged to enjoy the day away from their high temperature homes and come down to one of the following facilities: Joslyn Senior Center 21 Grant St. Hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Redlands Community Senior Center 111 W.
