Floral Design Hands On Demonstration

The third of in a series of four hands on floral design demonstrations presented free of charge by the Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society is open to the public.The theme for this demonstration will be miniature designs.
There are two categories in National Garden Clubs and California Garden Clubs floral design competitions: small (not to exceed 8 inches) and miniature (not to exceed 5 inches) in overall height or width.
RHIS Floral Design Group chairperson John Grimm will follow the NGC criteria small designs. NGC's designs include Basic Flower Arranging, Basic Table Settings and Designs, organizing the elements of design with plant materials and other components according to the principles of design.
Containers and plant materials will be provided for this workshop, but participants should bring scissors. Participants may also bring plant materials and small vases or other containers they would like to use or share.
The April 5th meeting of the RHIS Floral Design Group will take place at 10 a.m. at Plymouth Village, 945 Salem Drive, Redlands.
