Residents Enjoy Movies in the Park

REDLANDS>> The City of Redlands, Movies in the Park Series, is set to air "Moana" on Friday, April 28 at State Street & 5th Street in Downtown Redlands. Activities will start at 5 p.m. and the movie screening will begin at dusk, between 7:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. Those planning to attend are asked to arrive early and to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Children who attend will receive a free lei and goodie bag. Free entertainment will be provided by hula dancers and a ukulele band. Activities will include Art in Motion and games hosted by Redlands Girl Scout Troop 236. The Chick-Fil-A of Redlands Cow will also be giving away goodies. The Redlands Senior Center Hawaiian Dancers and Moku Aina Piwa ukulele gang are also set to make an appearance. The Movies in the Park series is an ongoing event with different movies showing throughout the year. On Friday, May 26, the event will feature the movie "Sing", and on Friday, June 23, "The Secret Life of Pets" will be shown.
