Educators from Moreno Valley Unified participated in a variety of presentations at the University of Redland’s Summer Institute on Leadership for Educational Justice this week.

Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora participated in a forum with other Inland Empire superintendents and Riverside County Superintendent Dr. Judy White. The forum covered a variety of topics that focused on equality and equity across all student groups. Board of Education member, Jesús M. Holguín also attended and gave a welcome to the institute participants.

Other district presenters included a feature presentation by Professional Development Specialist Deepika Srivastava on equity in math and science classrooms. Srivastava and teachers Matthew Story and Sally Schierbeck-Kim also hosted a breakout session on robotics.
