REDLANDS >> Redlands Police on Monday arrested a 41-year-old Redlands man for child molestation after a teen-age girl reported that she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by the suspect for four years, beginning when the victim was 8 years old. Jaime Alejo Guerra was arrested without incident Monday, April 25, the same day police learned of the molestation. Following Guerra’s arrest investigators identified two other victims, who were 6 and 10 years old when Guerra began molesting them. All of the victims were known to the suspect at the time of the molestations. Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying other possible victims. Guerra is being held in lieu of $2,500,000 bail at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on charges of sodomy with a child under 10 years old; continuous lewd acts with a child under 14 years old; and lewd acts on a child using force or fear. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kelli Bishop at (909) 798-7623 or Redlands Police Dispatch at (909) 798-7681. Anyone with information regarding crime or suspicious activity is asked to contact Redlands Police Dispatch at (909) 798-7681.
