Beginning Watercolor Classes Focus on Yosemite Landscape

REDLANDS>> The City of Redlands Recreation Division of the Quality of Life Department will continue to offer a fourth month of beginning watercolor classes. The step-by-step series of watercolor lessons, taught by local Redlands artist, Cindy Sullivan will focus on the landscape of Yosemite and the mixing of greens. The series of four classes will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 6 through 27. Thursday evening classes are from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8 through 29. Basic techniques, proper use of supplies and basic color mixing will be covered. Each month, a simple, step-by-step project is demonstrated and students are guided through it with individual attention during class. The cost of the program is $27 for all four classes.
