Wendy Castello-Mascorro was a caring mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was a 23-year Loma Linda resident who was a shining light for those who surrounded her. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021.

Wendy was born on December 22, 1964 in Upland, California and was raised by her loving parents Margie and James Castello. Wendy spent years working with children in the community and loved helping others. For years, she brightened her neighborhood with the musical windchimes and thriving plants that she kept on her porch.

She spent much of her time bragging about her son, Austin, his accomplishments, and her future grandchild. Wendy was a dedicated mother, and it was evident she loved her son more than anything in the world. Their special bond will continue to be seen even after her passing. Her legacy will live on with her friends and family as they continue to live life to the fullest and share her stories.

She was loved by many for her larger-than-life personality, wonderful sense of humor and kind spirit. Wendy will be missed by everyone who knew her.
