A close up experience! C-5 Galaxy at the Socal Air Show

The 2025 Southern California Air Show dazzled attendees at March Air Reserve Base in Moreno Valley on April 12–13, marking a triumphant return of this aviation spectacle. Drawing over 400,000 spectators, the free, family-friendly event showcased a blend of high-octane aerial performances, historic aircraft displays, and interactive exhibits . The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headlined the show, captivating audiences with their precision flying in F-16 Fighting Falcons. Their signature diamond formations and synchronized maneuvers were a standout feature of the event. Additional performances included:  Canadian SkyHawks Parachute Team: Delivered thrilling skydiving demonstrations. F/A-18 Super Hornet West Coast Demo Team: Showcased the agility and power of the Super Hornet. C-17 Globemaster III and KC-135 Stratotanker: Demonstrated airlift and refueling capabilities. A-10 Thunderbolt II “Warthog”: Performed close air support maneuvers. Patriots Jet Team: Flew L-39 Albatros jets in tight formations. Vintage Warbirds: Included a mock dogfight between an F-86 Sabre and a MiG-15, complete with smoke trails and sound effects  Attendees explored an extensive array of aircraft on static display, such as: F-35 Lightning II F-22 Raptor B-1B Lancer bomber C-5 Galaxy C-130 Hercules? These displays offered a unique opportunity for visitors to get up close with both modern and historic aircraft.
